Find a New Poem to Love and Build a "Rich" Word List

Several tasks for today:

1) Find a NEW poem that you love. Use Google or Yahoo to just search for poem sites.

Or look at the poems here: Poetry 180.

No song lyrics (This time around.)
Your poet should not be just any teen or college student with his or her own website. The poet MUST be published. Check Amazon to see if they have a book of poetry published.

Once you find a poem, copy and paste it into a NEW blog entry. Then write about what you LOVE about the poem. Be specific about WHY you like it. Perhaps you can point to a phrase or a line from the poem that you find to be particularly powerful.

2) At the websites listed below, generate five (5) nouns (OBSCURE), five (5) adjectives (OBSCURE), and five (5) verbs (SOMEWHAT UNCOMMON and either "transitive" or "intransitive").

COPY AND PASTE these NEW WORDS (there will be 15 in all) WITH DEFINITIONS in A NEW BLOG, marked with today's date.
